Thank you, Everybody Everywear, for encouraging me to really tackle colorblocking for the first time. Once again I have another blogger to thank for an article of clothing that I'm wearing. Kayley over at Sidewalk Ready had these pants on last week and suddenly I felt like my search for bright pants had finally come to an end. So even though I said I wanted bright pants in either pink or green, I bought red. Which brings me to three pairs of bottoms in varying shades of red, but who's counting?
Oh, and happy Valentine's Day. I'll be off filling the hole left by my absent Valentine with floral arrangements and cutesy decorations for an event tonight.
xo, Kellie
I love the shade of pink you decided to pair with the red pants. Definitely bold, and definitely works!
ReplyDeleteI always love EBEW challenges, especially since I find so many new reads ;) Will definitely be following!

Thanks! I almost paired the pants with a softer pink, but I figured it was probably wiser to pair two bold shades.
DeleteI have yet to succumb to the trend that is red pants - but everytime I see a great outfit like this my temptation is taken to a new level!
ReplyDeleteWell done and thanks for participating in EBEW :)
Thanks, Liz! I started liking the colored pants trend MONTHS ago, and just in the last couple of months have warmed up to it enough to actually buy red pants when I saw them. Pinterest has been a huge help! Haha.
DeleteThat blouse is the perfect shade of pink...I love it! And with red it's fantastic!

Thanks a bunch! The top was an impulse buy at Target, and now I wear it all the time!
DeleteI, too, love that shade of fuschia with the bright pants - so cute!
